Hi, my name is Miss Hannah.

I grew up playing school as a young girl. School has always been a place of home for me. I grew up with my favorite teacher being my mom, she worked in DPS all through my youth.

I have taught & worked with children for nearly two decades. I love watching children grow into magical humans!

Throughout my career, I have filled the role of the lead teacher in 4 learning environments in Colorado, learning how each business operated differently to find my niche in the market.

I was blessed to open an incredibly well-known school in the Hale-Mayfair, Denver neighborhood I grew up in. That serves a huge community in Denver.

I went to school to create my major at MSU Denver, with a Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies: Administration for Early Learning Facilities. I started the major to know how to run a business & work with kids, the best of both worlds! During COVID-19’s shutdown, another educator & I were able to start a pod for a community in Hilltop, Denver. This tight group of friends could get together & learn while staying safe! This idea of a small group stayed in my philosophy.

The community has been waiting for a school like The Little School; a small learning environment, that grows from love, and teaches children how important our earth & being outside are.

The idea of having a close community you can call on is why we are doing it; we love our families like they are our own.

The first class for toddlers & twos has been operating for over a year, and we can not wait to complete our final group of six children, as we navigate Denver’s Preschool Program and change the education system,

I am constantly educating myself on new research within the early childhood community. I love to read & I am a math nerd! I am daydreaming of the day I am able to go back for a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education research; based on the philosophy I have created with the low ratios.
